As much as I want to say Mina the Hollower is a fantastic game, I can't. It's a solid 7/10 The gene itself is sound and built well. But the world itself feels as hollow as the holes Mina digs. It feels like the world was created and the people just added on top, with no ties to it.

Was it just me, or does anyone else remember the era of monkey movies in the early 2000s? It feels like they were all just video rental store bait for children, but they just disappeared off the face of the earth now.

I do think expedition 33 deserved the rewards, but it did cast a large shadow over the entire event. That being said, had silksong released a year later, it would probably be sweeping just as expedition 33 did. I do think those two were closer than the game awards portrayed them to be.

So inadvertently, a new OC might be created with something that is currently being made. A trade a year in the making that might have ballooned way out of proportion. But just in the designing stand and I already like the dynamic between the character and one of my OCs. He might get fleshed out.
