Husband and I went to Europe. I fell in love with the Netherlands, we both did. We loved the Rhine castles, and Strasburg's Le Petit France was just gorgeous. I want to go back.

We are officially dug out. Huge thanks to our neighbors who covered most of the drives. We dug out our section and uncovered the cars and dug out our porch and a couple of the sidewalk sections we cover. The drifts at the sidewalk were up to my knee... so about 18 inches.

Yeah we got a foot of snow. The only time I've seen more was the '08 blizzard (and that hit Columbus worse then Dayton I think) where we got 15inches in 24 hours. But we had white out conditions then, and here it was just constant light snow.

Good news... they cancelled school tomorrow early, so no 5 am phone call. Better news... it does not look like there is snow forecasted from now until Sunday... so hopefully my road trip will be clear.
