Saw Avatar: The Way of Water again in IMAX 3D. James Cameron remains the GOAT and Fire and Ash looks awesome. My only disappointment is that they didn't play the HFR version at my theater—48 FPS, oh how I miss you.

Looks like the Mikeno (one of the ships in the Global Sumud Flotilla sailing to Gaza) might actually make it. Roughly half the ships have been intercepted by the Israeli military, but the rest are continuing toward Gaza.

Does anyone know the status of the Mikeno ship that's part of the Global Sumud Flotilla? It breached Gaza territorial waters as a historical first, but the tracker has its last known position updated as of 40 minutes ago.

We can protect California's forests from megafires. Last month, I visited part of the Sierra Nevada that burned in 2021. In unmanaged areas, most trees died. But where land managers had thinned trees and conducted prescribed burns, nearly every tree survived. These photos show the difference.🧪🌿🌎

There is nothing inherently wrong with the Earth 400k years ago. The problem is that humans evolved to live in the climate we have today, and we built our infrastructure for today's climate. The same goes for the animals and plants that we love and love to eat. Climate change is pain for everyone.

Dividing the world into a bunch of segregated ethnostates is a terrible and bigoted idea. We don't need to be separated from each other. We need to embrace each other, accept each other, celebrate each other. Interfaith, interracial, and intercultural exchange make us better. They're the future.
