It is wild the state police culture was, under no circumstances do anything that damages your state issued vehicle and then a consultant? Major? Colonel? decided wrecking the car was fine and actually good. Pit is the equivalent of drawing your gun and shooting someone and should be treated as such.

Born 99 years ago today in Helena, Arkansas, and educated at the fabled DuSable High School in Chicago: Red Holloway (d. 2012). Statistically speaking, there's probably a bad record out there that he played sax on, but I've never heard it.

This is good but the main thing is: these guys don't want to make art -- they want to *have made art.* They want people to look at the art they can't bother making and praise and respect them for it. Because generally they feel they deserve the world's respect without doing anything to earn it.
