A very annoying thing that happened is that, while hitting the target metric for Nano, I still have two chapters left to write. For the last two weeks I have let myself rest. But sadly it is now time to come out of retirement for One Last Job

Hit a mid-month/start-of-a-new-project slog myself BUT we persevere. What helps me is the thought that: -I have made it through many slogs in my life -There has never been a slog who has made it through me (this might be gibberish and that's fine too cause I'm counting this towards my word goal)

I'm at 20K words. Given that I know I've got some "revision" sections remaining that will go faster than pure drafting, I would say I am right on pace. Team, I need a pep talk lol. Today was a SLOG
