UGH time to work on the spread from hell (i did this to myself)

I'm a fulltime freelancer as a single person with a child and it's HARD, but I make it work by being very frugal and renting a very small apartment. Anyway, I'm just saying my piece to let other single creators know that it's possible! It's not easy and I make a lot of sacrifices, but I'm happy!

I do about 18 in-person art markets a year selling original paintings and prints of my work, and that makes up about 3/4 of my income. It's steadier than the unsteady drip of publishing. Tiring, but I haven't had success with online art sales at scale, and I like talking to folks!
