Sometimes, I get so incredibly tired of people complaining about a great adaptation because "it's not like the books." Yeah, man, they're entirely different mediums. We've been doing book adaptations to film for over 100 years. How have you not figured this out by now?

Just saw a post on Reddit of people bitching about a new change to monsters in D&D that they don't have to have to have a save on an effect they already hit with and people were complaining. Which makes me realize how many people don't understand good game design. Fewer rolls are better.
