A pupil from P7M very generously offered their skills to teach P7P how to navigate Scratch, helping them gain the knowledge and confidence to support their P1 buddies during buddy time.🤝💻 @missmeiklebps.bsky.social

On Friday, we celebrated Roald Dahl Day 📚 Inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, we designed our own golden tickets and invented exciting new chocolate bars 🍫 Our buddies helped us do this on the iPads!

P7 are very excited to be participating in rugby lessons led by Grangemouth Stags RFC for the next 4 weeks 🏉 Sessions will take place on Thursdays, starting Thursday 18th September. Please ensure your child brings a full change of P.E kit and a change of shoes for these sessions 👟

We have been learning to write numbers in words 🔢 We worked in pairs, rolling our dice to give us a number and then raced our partner to write the number ✏️

We have been sharing what we have learnt from reading our non-fiction books 📚

We have been learning how to stay safe online 💻 We enjoyed playing ‘Interland’ to reinforce our learning 👾

Egg Carrier STEM Challenge 🥚 What a success! The majority of our egg carriers managed to keep our eggs safe as we dropped them off the trim trail 🥳

🎭SCHOOL SHOW🎭 We are hosting auditions for our upcoming school show, which will be held in October (More details will follow shortly). All audition materials have been taught by Miss Niven in class and children will complete a Microsoft form to detail which part they would like to audition for.

We had a special visitor come and talk to us about their job on Tuesday! It was Miss Meikle’s dad ☺️ He spoke about his role as a Maritime Enforcement Officer and Marine Engineer ⛴️ We asked lots of super questions too ⚓️

On Friday to conclude our Harry Potter/London topic we completed some quizzes using our Plickers cards 🪄 We had been competing in themed challenges throughout the topic to gain points for our houses 😆 The scores were very close but Gryffindor managed to secure their win with 247 points 🥳 Well done!🌟
