Today, we went to Grangemouth High School. During the visit, pupils took part in a science lesson, where they explored chemistry by observing different reactions and recording their results. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience high school learning and develop their scientific skills.

We went to the Kelpies to see pupil artwork from our previous Red Illustrated project. We enjoyed a guided tour inside the Kelpies, explored the visitor centre to view pupil work, and used a map to explore the grounds. Congratulations to the pupils with artwork on display—we are very proud!👏

As part of our upcoming STEM project on aviation, we were very lucky to receive a visit from a pilot. He spoke to us about his career, the training involved, and what a typical day looks like, before answering lots of thoughtful questions from the pupils.

P7 were delighted to receive a visit from QTS today. We explored the wide range of jobs in engineering and discussed the key skills required for these roles. We also got to try on some PPE, which was very fun!

We learned about the key features of a debate and then held a class debate on whether Mary Queen of Scots should have been made queen at six days old. Pupils were very engaged and eager to present their arguments.

In line with the upcoming school show, these students have highlighted the importance of performing arts. One pupil has created an information poster, recognising the importance of the arts. Another pupil has researched an influential figure and their impact. Great work to both of you!✨

P7P brought sound to life by exploring onomatopoeia through firework art! A big shoutout to one pupil who took their learning a step further, creating a brilliant, informative poster to help the whole class understand onomatopoeia. What a fantastic example of going above and beyond! ✨

A little moment to brag! 🌟 Some of our pupils have worked incredibly hard on completing their mood boards in art. They explored colours, pictures, and themes to express different elements of their personality—such a creative and thoughtful way to showcase themselves! 🎨✨

P7 have just completed their third rugby training session, delivered by the Grangemouth Stags. This week, pupils focused on developing their passing and kicking skills, as well as enhancing teamwork and spatial awareness on the field. They enjoyed applying their skills in a game of Hawick ball.
