Today is Equal Pay Day. From now until the end of the year, women in the UK are effectively working for free. The gap still sits at 10.9% and for many Black and Asian women it’s even wider. We need equal pay, flexible work and transparency. Not tomorrow, today.

I found tonight's @theguardian.com Live event with @ledbydonkeys.org inspiring and uplifting. Realising that there are still progressive and empathetic human beings out there brave enough to take action when injustices need righting/ calling out, was the tonic I needed.Now a new micro-donor.
