🆕 from PolarRES' @raphaelkoehler.bsky.social & colleagues on the future of the Beaufort Gyre, a major Arctic Ocean current. By accumulating/releasing freshwater, it shapes ocean properties. But most CMIP6 models project it will weaken or vanish, disrupting ocean circulation. 🔗: bit.ly/4cdZo3m
