Context matters

It is pretty galling that the Supreme Court spent four years telling Biden "you can't do that without Congress" then allowed Trump to seize a once-unthinkable amount of power from Congress within nine months and concentrate law-making authority almost entirely in the executive branch.

Today we learned that in June the US economy lost jobs for the first time since 2020. We haven’t seen this kind of net job loss since - well, since the last time Trump was in charge.

I made some offhand comment on a "periodic table of the idiots" relative to the Trump Regime, and it went a bit viral -- so I had to throw one together, even though I didn't have so much time.
