đ Inflation just rose to 3.6% - the highest itâs been all year. For voters, thatâs not just a number. Itâs pressure on bills, wages that donât stretch, and a cost-of-living crisis that still isnât over. Growth only counts if people feel it.

this week quotes Labour Together's research which found that voters are supremely pessimistic about high prices, thinking that they're here forever. If some energy prices *do* fall (as they are predicted to do) this could be a rare upside surprise for voters.

Does GGF focus on the good or the growth? Growth cannot be a success if it doesn't lead to a lower cost of living, higher living standards, improved public services and more opportunity. Growth and the public good can go hand in hand - but you have to focus on what people want to see.
