Sad to see Andrae go but this is objectively a good swing for the #Flyers to upgrade their backup goalie position. It might not work out because of Woll’s injury history and inconsistency but still worth a shot. Good to see Danny be active early!

-Nurse doesn't preclude them from signing Carlson. They play different sides and roles. -Nurse would likely mean they're planning to move on from a LHD. It's not Sanheim, so York or Seeler. -They're also going to trade Risto and possibly replace him w/Carlson, a mostly offense guy.

I actually think the Darnell Nurse interest makes some sense. If you believe the report, it signals a makeover of the Flyers blue line and to me that means the departure of York + Ristolainen in separate deals + UFA Carlson: Sanheim-Carlson Nurse-Drysdale Seeler-Jiricek/Bonk I don't hate it.
