I still find it incredibly funny Mako’s rivals were voiced by her magical girl predecessors. Tomiko was voiced by Michiko Hirai (Sally) while Rika was voiced by Yoshiko Ota (Akko).

New Year; New Anime to Watch HELP!

A pretty scary concept was teased in the BIG O that your Android friend, who seemed to lack emotions, was a serial killer who got amnesia.

Watched the first episode of Big O season two. While it doesn’t look *that* bad, it’s just a major downgrade from season one’s cel animation. The episode itself was fine but there’s such a disconnect from the season one finale.
