Got one of the best worst shark movies for tonight’s #WeirdWednesday screening of Bruno Mattei’s #CruelJaws, aka JAWS 5. 😂

#TheOrphanage is one of those movies that *terrified* me on a first viewing, but once you know the twist the genre changes from horror to drama. It's a turn-off for some folks, but I love it so. Also, the knock knock game scene is one of the creepiest things ever put on film.

Screening a modern* classic for #TerrorTuesday tonight: Zack Snyder’s directorial debut #DawnOfTheDead! *Can it be considered modern if we’re almost as far away from its release as it was from the release of Romero’s original? 🥴

After last night’s #TerrorTuesday screening of #Species, it makes perfect sense that I’d make tonight’s #WeirdWednesday a screening of the much-maligned #SpeciesII because it’s better than the original. Well, maybe not “better,” but gorier, sleazier and sexier. 💅

SHIVERS is such a fantastic debut feature. I would expect nothing less from Cronenberg!

Screening #Species for #TerrorTuesday tonight, in which the dumbest human beings ever written for the silver screen chase a sex alien around Los Angeles for nearly 2 hours. It’s a sleazy B-movie with an A-list cast (2 Oscar winners!) and a decent budget ($35 million). What’s not to like? 👽 🐍

Given what we know about it (i.e., that there are no human characters in it), I honestly don't see a problem with #PredatorBadlands getting a PG-13 rating. The MPA only cares if the blood & gore is red and from a human body. They don't give 2 shits about non-red blood from fictional creatures.

Welp, I watched #HellHouseLLCLineage and it's even worse than I feared. I'm a huge fan of this franchise (save for 3....and now 5), but this is a colossal misfire. What a shame.

In his introduction for the #FantasticFest premiere of his new film #Primate, 47 METERS DOWN and THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT director Johannes Roberts said “I’m sorry for #ResidentEvil” and I have *so* many questions for him because the floodgates have opened.

Watched the pilot of #TheStudio last night and wound up watching 7 of its 10 eps. All the performers are excellent (could do with a LOT more Catherine O’Hara, though), but Chase Sui Wonders has really been great. Ep 5’s “The War” gave her some A+ material as she went toe-to-toe with Ike Barinholtz.

Everything I see for #ResidentEvilRequiem has me so excited! Loving the look of this game.
