In Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, placeable UI elements are unlocked as the game progresses. While the game tries to prevent clutter, with intentionally bad placing it is possible to cover the entire screen in UI, making the game look like a parody of bad interface design.

The idea that fiction "normalizes" behavior makes intuitive sense until I think about how I have fun watching people get murdered in video games for hours a day but if I saw a dead body in real life I'd throw up and cry.
