Absolutely! I recently fed-back on on a researcher-driven interpretation of a healthcare challenge for a vulnerable group- which was that patients needed an intervention to help them develop coping strategies and resilience (said no patient or practitioner ever in a qualitative interview)

High quality systematic reviews do not link paracetamol to autism. I took paracetamol in pregnancy. I maintained a healthy pregnancy weight. I have a family history of autism but none diagnosed in my children. There is (apparently) a bit of ADD, but mostly we think of it as our super-power :)

I took paracetamol in both my pregnancies for minor joint troubles. I had a better pregnancy experience because I wasn't in pain. Neither of my kids is autistic. The high-quality studies and reviews confirm there is NO evidence that paracetamol taken by the mother causes autism in the child. 🧪

The evaluations are of insufficient quality & breadth to inform change; I’ve read them. Train more trainers, quicker.

Malhotra is a cardiologist. He is neither a public health epidemiologist , an immunologist nor is he an infectious diseases specialist. There is no evidence whatsoever to support his claims- an anecdote from an in-named oncologist just doesn’t cut it. I’m shocked that the GMC have not responded.
