Completed my Overwatch drives on Sunday afternoon. This was made much more painful than usual because of Blizzard's tendency to send me to matches all over the world. Pretty sure over half of my games for the drives this season were in Middle East (180ms ping) or Brazil (140ms).

Overwatch competitive game on... Japanese servers because Blizzard. Guy on my team sees both support player picks, bans them both and then when the game is over has the balls to say "GG NO SUPPORT". lol

11 games into competitive drives in Overwatch, 6 wins 5 losses and the most recent loss because of a leaver who was bullied into quitting by one of our DPS players who was complaining about how many times the tank died. (They both had 7 deaths after the first round.) Ugh.

Trained under a guy about 30 years ago and he was a complete pile of shit. Decided to just stop entirely instead of try to find a new trainer in the area since he basically had his hand in everything in the area. YouTube video this morning tells me he hasn't changed one bit in the last 30 years.

Overwatch competitive drives progress so far: 2 wins, 2 losses. Every single game, win or loss, has been exceptionally tight. Hard to complain about the matchmaking I've had to this point. I know it's going to be garbage any moment now though.

I've never played Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess before and it feels weird that my first experience with it is in ultrawide, 240fps with 4k texture replacements in a PC recompilation. Hard to complain about the results.

1/3 of the game industry has lost their job in the last two years. Ubisoft closed two more studios today. Everyone is out of work. To that end I'm starting a new bundle to benefit a layoffs hardship fund. Game devs: please consider submitting your PAID games to the bundle, which will launch in July.
