Poorly youngest son this morning - probably because of the heat. No school for him today & we're trying to get fluids into him (unsuccessfully so far). Still, the house is now set up to start cooling down, so fingers crossed. Brace yourselves everyone.

Today, with the temperatures heading toward 37°C, I have been forced to re-use the air conditioning unit I bought back in 2018. Its not very efficient as we vent the heat through an open window - but thanks to the power of a repurposed cardboard box & lots of duct tape, we're slowly cooling down.
