Tens of thousands of @acscan.bsky.social advocates urged the House Energy & Commerce Committee to reconsider Medicaid cuts that impact millions of patients. Despite this, lawmakers who voted for these cuts chose to support the loss of health coverage for those with no other affordable options.

Important new @acscan.bsky.social survey data shows 1/3 of respondents reported being more than a year behind on recommending routine cancer screenings, the primary roadblock was affordability.

The president released his proposed budget for FY26 which contains a 26.2% cut to HHS. This includes a 37% cut to the NIH and eliminates the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion at the [email protected] calls on the president to reverse course. (1/3)

Yesterday the Access to Breast Cancer Diagnosis Act was introduced in the House & Senate. The #ACBDAct helps remove financial barriers to imaging such as MRI, ultrasound or mammograms, which are important in diagnosing #BreastCancer. We urge Congress to swiftly pass this bill.
