Trying to get back into being active in the dev community again. What are some good Vue and Nuxt groups to join?

Had the opportunity to visit Portland for a @codetv.dev Web Dev Challenge episode. It was such a blast hanging out with other devs, nerding out, and building (or attempting to build, HA) an app. Season 2 of Web Dev Challenge drops in April!

@getpieces.bsky.social Is there a way to log in to my ChatGPT account from the app? I couldn't find any instructions on how to configure them together.

Was able to get approval to switch my project repos from Azure to BitBucket and holy moly, configuring my pipelines and everything else is SO MUCH EASIER than it was on Azure. I spent minutes setting things up in BitBucket compared to hours in Azure.

This year, I've surrounded myself with strong, talented, and amazing women, both personally and professionally. It's done wonders for my mental health and I've never felt so supported. If you're in my circle, thank you for all that you do. 😘

Sometimes I stress out over the few console warnings I haven't gotten around to fixing yet. When this happens, I inspect the console on almost any large company's web app and I don't feel bad anymore. 🥲

I've been out of town for a week and still have 4 days to go. I miss my family and my social battery is drained. I want to be home snuggling with my kiddos. 😭

This has been one of the hardest years of my life but also one of the most rewarding. I'm looking forward to 2025 because good things are in the works and I am so ready for them!

Me: mentions my knee is hurting randomly My 8yo: "When my knee hurt randomly last week I ended up sick the next day. You'll probably be sick by tomorrow night." 3 hrs later. I'm sick. 🫠 Since when is knee pain the first symptom of getting sick?!

I've gone over 2 years without dealing with depression and I can feel it creeping back so just hoping I can stop it before it gets bad.

I told my SO about skeeting a couple weeks ago and then today dropped a "I skeeted [whatever it was]" and this other person reskeeted me, and his response was... "So skeeting stuck?" Yes, yes it did

I love it here even if I feel like I'm shouting into the void. The fact that people can be themselves and be free is sooooo awesome. It's a safe space so far here and I hope it stays that way bc it's obvious people can show their true selves here and be proud. Which is how it should be.

Being a parent means giving up things you like or want to do so you can instead invest in your kid. If you're wealthy it's probably much easier but I'm not so I can't relate on that front. What I do know is my kids are extremely caring & if that's what I contribute to the world it's worth it.

I've gotten to the point in my life where if I'm not respected as a person, I'm not putting up with it. It's been extremely difficult but also very liberating. I don't lie. I treat others the way I want to be treated. I'm done with anyone who doesn't treat me the same.

As a Texan mom, I have so many feelings about guns. Don't like them. But I also live in TX , where women's rights are diminishing by the day & licenses aren't required to carry. Just bc I don't like guns doesn't mean I shouldn't know how to use one. I look slightly psychotic in this pic though.

Presenting to 5th graders was a success! A few said they're interested in learning how to code, and the classes were engaged the entire time, it was such a great experience!

Behind behind schedule is stressful. Trying to focus while behind schedule then getting interrupted by tantrums is even more stressful. And this is why I usually end up working late at night.

Of all the items I've randomly misplaced, losing my tablet stylus has been the most annoying.

Aw I think me and @amy.wrestlejoy.com became BlueSky friends and I love it! I started on Twitter to connect with other devs and here it's a different vibes that gets me out of my comfort zone and I'm here for whatever happens. I just want to connect with other people.

But I have now been forced to move karaoking to the bedroom bc my 8yo is done and I was interrupting the show on my 5yos tablet. So now I will sing all the songs by myself and don't have to worry about sharing the mics which is GREAT.

My internet's been down since I woke up this afternoon and never have I ever been so glad I pulled an all-nighter to hit a deadline.

Twitter allowed me to start freelancing in an agency setting, which I've been doing for over 2 years now. It allowed me to connect w/other devs, and I have genuine real-life friendships from those connections. But I'm also excited for this new chapter & creating friendships here. 🙂

This is so true and my mental health significantly increased when I started realizing that and making changes.

Bluesky is the new wild wild west of the internet. People are skeeting all sorts of things I didn't expect to see today and it is highly entertaining but I'm glad I don't work in an office. 😂
