This week I am in NYC for our meetup and I spent weeks on this talk. I literally poured EVERYTHING into it. For my Demo, You send a voice message with Whatsapp, use Twilio to send it to OpenAI to transcribe, Using Atlassian Forge to create a Jira ticket then Rovo AI to refine it like a PM! 😎

I told Gemini to not just translate Korean to English but to translate contextually instead of literal translations. I have relatives staying with us for 2 weeks from Korea. They don't speak English. GAME CHANGER! The conversation we just had over dinner was SO GOOD! My mind is blown.

I Reviewed a Junior Software Developers Resume Then Read Their Actual Code on GitHub. It Wasn't Even Close. Their resume said "created reusable frontend components." ⤵️

The WORST thing AI can do isn't failing. It's succeeding at giving you exactly the WRONG thing, brilliantly formatted.

Folks want to make predictions for things because there is absolutely ZERO consequences to being wrong but radical upside for saying it. You get to see the content you continue to reward. If you reward 6 month predictions with engagement you are the gasoline for their fire.

I force every developer in my cohorts to do one thing that ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIES them: Book 5 coffee chats with strangers in tech. They think they'll get rejected. But Every. Single. Person. Gets. Them. Send the message! Audit the results. Adjust accordingly.

Watching a tutorial and copying a "Hello World" script is fun. Figuring out how to scale that script in production when a third-party API rate limits you into oblivion is where you actually learn how to code and the value of problem solving. Be a problem solver.
