QUESTION FOR YOU ALL! What was the first funny animal media that made you think "Gosh I wanna be like them!" Or "Gosh I wanna live in that world? What made you a furry before you knew what furry was? Maybe a cartoon, a movie, a comic, a book? Maybe a mascot?

I grew up in the 90s, a perfect time for these sort of media. All the things I liked were about animals. I was obsessed with Lion King and Robin Hood. I had a Robin Hood plush I'd run around the woods with and go on adventures with. All my first crushes were cartoon animals!

I consumed funny animal media like a sponge and thankfully my parents allowed it. Anything I could get my young paws on I did and watched or read it over and over and over again. My mom loved how much I loved to read Redwall and other such stories so she was happy I was happy.
