Our students are back in VR again for the second practical of the course. VR for Psychology Research module we deliver for PGT students consists of two practical sessions in our amazing research (ARC XR) and teaching (Partick Burgh Hall) labs!

I am delivering a short lecture and seminar to level 4 students in Anatomy today. The highlight of the day was a Lithuanian student coming up to me to say hi and telling me how amazing it is to see a teacher in Higher education from her country. I am feeling so amazing after that!!!

Homesick so here are more Lithuanian 🇱🇹 facts. Did you know? Šatrija Hill, a mysterious spot in Lithuania, is shrouded in legends—some say a buried church lies beneath it, while others claim that witches from across the land gather here for their secret rituals.

Our students are back in VR at our amazing ARC XR facilities for their practical this week. It is part of two practical labs on our VR for Psychology Research module.

Whenever I feel like I'm struggling, I look back at the pictures from my childhood. Life has certainly not made things easy for me. But when I look at the little face of 6 years old Sarune on the first day of school, I get a bit of hope that it will get better.

I am particularly excited about our VR for Psychology Research lecture today as it is very close to my heart. Experimental design and UX are inherently linked, particularly in HCI arena. I am pleased I can teach our PGT students that there are so many employability routes for Psychology graduates.

Well into our VR course now, and David is lecturing today, on his birthday week, on VR use in therapeutic settings!
