Finished Dark Forces Remastered, very fun SW games in spite of various labyrinth-ish levels. I guess I'll start OG System Shock 1 next but not sure the Steam Deck can handle it.

Finally done with all the classic Doom! Doom 64 really has great levels, the new lighting is a bit crude but definitely adds a lot of atmosphere. But I'm not a fan of the new pseudo 3D monster sprite nor the new gun animation. The unmaker pretty much renders the plasma and BFG useless.

Finally got through all the games in Doom + Doom II, Legacy of Rust got great and challenging maps, Vassago is a great new enemy but I didn't care much for the others. Incinerator and calamity blade are great too but the calamity is maybe too easy to use for the power, the BFG was more balanced.

The entitlement in some comments is quite disgusting, being able to flash an STM32 doesn't give you the right to use somebody Firmware. You have to follow the term under which it was released by the author. It's that simple. Also disliking the ways of the author is irrelevant.

Just closing the loop on this isue. The issue with espressif didn't yield a working upstream fix. But with some of the debug BT lib provided I was able to produce a hacked lib that do work with the Shanwan PS3 controller. Get those build here github.com/darthcloud/B...

After much reflection, I have decided not to produce any further batches of the BRX adapter. It's not worth the hassle in the current context. I will still be providing firmware updates, with one coming by the end of May! Thanks to everyone who bought one last year!

I basically test all of these devices with BlueRetro every release. And that's mostly what donations are used for, getting more!
