If you ever feel like you don't know what you're doing, just keep in mind Spotify sent out an email today with an image that is 8736x11648 in dimensions and 19.6MB in filesize. So. You're fine.

Let's make AI jealous. Write what Al can't touch. Humans can think with their heads, hearts, and bodies. Try moving your hands. It's fine if your mind remains a jumble. Ideas scattered across the paper. Sometimes they connect by chance, and something new is born.

It makes me sad when people say an idea then admit it was from ChatGPT or whatever. No, YOU have good ideas. YOUR opinion and creativity is what I want. If I wanted some shitty computer generated idea I would have typed it myself. This horseshit is robbing the world of badly needed humanity.

I swear the internet is just wholly cheap hacks and product flipping at this point. Can't even try to find something handmade without having to weed through thousands of Temu-level mass produced shite with 100% false product descriptions.

8 years later I still get comments on a video I posted about switching from an Apple Watch to an analog watch. Mostly positive, some who lack tact and social skills, some who are just mean. Doesn't bother me, just interesting.

I think I'm definitely old because any time I open a video and the first thing is some shitty AI-voice speaking the title of what I'm about to watch, I close it down immediately. This is quite possibly the stupidest thing that has become popular in the last couple years.

cancelling Disney+ and Hulu is well and good but it’s not a huge hit on an individual level but Disney adults? people who spend real money at the parks? you guys can make a dent, call ‘em up and tell them your vacation is postponed until they pull their heads out of their asses

As you cancel streaming services, here is a casual reminder that only 16% of Americans read for pleasure anymore, and your local library has hundreds or thousands of books you haven't read. They would love to see you stop by and renew your library card.

Tried out GitHub Copilot from the iOS app on my personal site. I told it to remove a single line from next.config.ts. I assumed some level of proper procedure of any sort would be followed. It deleted the entire config and committed that shit to main. I think our jobs are safe.

Does styled components do SSR at all? Seems like it's fully client side, which feels the most backward pattern these days. The docs _say_ it supports SSR but not simply.

does a great job of expressing how AI is disincentivizating content creatation. Seems the end game here is bad for everyone, including AI tools, which loose up to date resources to steal... I mean use for research.
