Maple trees are changing color in the mountains. This maple tree is at Mikami Rokusho Shrine in Aiga, Tsuchiyama-cho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture.

The maple leaves in Japan have just started to change color, and although they are still in the mountainous areas, only small patches of red are visible on the plains, as you can see here. However, I think they will reach their peak in about a week.
