My mom, aged 2 here, came here as a Hungarian refugee in 1956. None of them spoke English but they got to work running a candy shop and being a machinist making engines. Grandpa Eddie loved Reagan and the EU.

My family came to the U.S. before the Immigration Act of 1924 banned Japanese and cut Eastern European immigrants. Since then, our family fought for our country in WWII, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. We are the land of the free and the home of the brave because of those who became Americans.

It is worth remembering that these are people who loyally fought alongside us for 20 years while Miller was enduring the harrowing experience of writing press releases
