The Cape May Ren Faire was a fun and casual event. The craziest thing we saw was a 47 cosplayer with a bandage over his ear. His group looked really out of place, but didn't really appear to be bothering anyone. Also I've never seen so many police. In and out of the camp grounds.

Our D&D group is an odd one. Half disgraced former co-workers, half contractors working for the same company. A high school person whos parents were former players at the table and I've never met. Young person is openly queer, so we had a bit to bond over.

We have a young person in our D&D group and we're trying to be positive and supportive adults when the parents won't. And this person has so much compassion but we're watching them lose the will to live in weekly increments and it is heartbreaking.
