This is obviously a coerced attack on free speech, but people are misunderstanding the circumstances of the firing and what Kimmel said. He didn't joke about or celebrate Kirk's death, it's because he falsely asserted that the shooter was MAGA when evidence at the time pointed otherwise.

The forum account alleged to be the Minneapolis shooter, and the source of claims calling them a O9A/764 grooming victim, is actively posting today. It’s not the shooter’s account. Told you this was a TCC shooting not an O9A shooting.

I’m sorry this person was not an O9A acolyte, they more closely resemble the True Crime Community fandom, which uses O9A references cause other mass shooters have and were more affiliated. Some nazi satanist types help facilitate the Columbine fandom/TCC, but there’s no solid 764 connection here.

I believe this will be a 'boy who cried wolf' scenario for the anti-trans right, their base already thinks that every mass shooter from the past 3 years was trans. This latest brainrot columbine/TCC one won't make much of a difference. Think of how quick conservatives moved on from the Zizians.
