Very cool topic

There's a marked uptick in scholarly proposals for edited volumes that are chock full of extra costs... full color photo inserts, manga essays, request for QR codes, perforated pages, etc. Even with subventions, these bring big challenges to a university press. Curious where this is coming from.

I've been thinking a lot about how daily life in the city feels much more aggressive and antagonistic between strangers. Living at the expense of strangers.

It's only been a few months. And the dismantling has been shocking and mostly unopposed.
