We’ve got a great Kino update out today — bringing highly-requested Creator Tools like Audio Control (set any microphone automatically or manually, including iPhone mic configs), expanded storage options, precise geotagging and more. It’s such a fun job to build a perfect, simple video camera. 🥰

life update: our baby bunny opened his eyes today

As a fan of Art Deco it’s interesting to analyze why this falls so flat. It’s to classic art deco what a Las Vegas Caesar’s Palace is to classical architecture. It looks like a caricature of the thing it is trying to pay homage to.

With WWDC now approaching I’d like to remind some of my international followers attending to take care traveling. Have accommodations booked and documented. Inform US border staff you are here for WWDC, but do not to work (if on a work-free visa / ESTA). The latter is very important. Safe travels!

iOS 18.4 is out today, which seems to still have some pretty serious camera issues. I hope we get another update soon - the stock camera and camera apps often hang or just show a black screen for me.

nearly 2 year old daughter broke into the saddest face imaginable when I served dinner last night. she saw her plate and softly went ‘doggie’ 🙁 One of her other enamel plates has a crudely drawn polar bear on it, which she calls doggie “doggiiie” 😔😢 they don’t prepare you for the emotional attack
