I haz been downhill skiing 😅For the second time in my life (the 1st time was 10 years ago). I’ve been cross country skiing since I was a baby, like most Finns, but this new-fangled yuppie slaloming stuff is new to me 🤭

Blaah. Developed toothache this week, luckily got an appointment for today. Upper jaw molar needs a root canal, dentist did the 1st phase today and I have another appt in two weeks. Good thing the local anesthesia works so well for me, so zero pain.

In other news, spring in Finland is *very* early. Where I live we’ve had about a month of mostly above zero degrees during the day and maybe a degree or two below zero or 0°C during nights, almost half the country has been snowless for a while etc

Mum is still in hospital, but has been able to walk to loo with help of two nurses and a walker. I suppose she’s been drugged up to eyeballs with painkillers though. Let’s say I’m ”realistic” about her chances of recovering well enough to return home, what with her advanced memory issues. >

Today I’m off to Japan for 10 days with one of my besties 😊 I’m so tired and actually looking fwd to the 13 hour flight 😅 I intend to SLEEP.

Went to get my brows and eyelashes done, they had extra serotonin boost service included in the price 🥰 (two of these)

Things are a bit shitty (partially literally). Mum has been in a hospital for a week, she has compression fractures in two lumbar vertebrae (hello osteoporosis!) and also fractures in her sacrum. She can’t walk or even sit because of the pain. =>
