We saw Wake Up Dead Man, and I enjoyed it a lot but I think it could have used a tighter edit. Some fantastic moments, beautiful to look at, some heavy handed lighting decisions, and honestly not enough Blanc. The ensemble didn’t feel so ensembly, it was really O’Connor’s movie.

I had a professor in college who got yelled at for giving an entire class a failing grade. You can’t fail them all! He said, “I didn’t fail them, they failed.” I feel like when it comes to like, cabinet appt or judges they want to seem fair, we can’t say no to everybody they put up! Yes, you can.
