Our NELA adu is available in November. I love this space. It’s relaxing and private. Close to bars and restaurants but also somehow feels secluded. Fruit trees. Partially furnished. Searching for a good human because life is too short.

Day one wasn’t great but it had its moments… but it wasn’t far off. I think delusional me simply didn’t realize that getting a ton done isn’t joy, it’s just overwhelming. But baby steps.

We were about to fall asleep when a show we were watching referenced the baby mine scene from dumbo and the fiance didn’t remember it. So we watched it. And then I sobbed uncontrollably for a solid ten minutes and now wont stop realizing one day the dogs will die. So… sweet dreams everybody!

I don’t know her but I love this concept so much it hurts.

We have weird bugs attacking our pomegranate tree and killing it. A tree that has only provided fruit to a family of very aggressive squirrels who have never cared if anything was ripe. The price I got quoted to save this tree is annoying while unemployed. But removing a dead tree is more expensive.

Sat here for 10 minutes trying to think of the name of it. I was in high school. I’m 42 now & there have been an unhealthy amount in between… the first I ever liked was in film school. I believe that was called the wheels on the bus. It was a dark comedy about suicide. So yeah, I’ve always been me.

My nighttime anxiety kept me up until two then my daytime anxiety woke me up at six. I might not be working these days, but my anxiety is putting in hours. That check (I assume my early death) is gonna be huge.

Such a blue week so far. I’m tied of losing people who brought joy when there are so many other options.
