Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

When ever one of those AI bros tires to tell you that artist are gatekeeping art remember that pros, armatures, hobbyist all stopped what they where doing to provide guidance to a newbie artist over the shared experience that "this one angle is hard to draw"

Your art is not slop, your doodles are not slop, your left facing portrait with no background is not slop, please stop referring to your own works as slop because you are sending a message to other artists that their hard work is also slop. Save it for the AI plague that is actual slop.

Always chasing the next "trendy" idea for your art is so exhausting. Always thinking "What could I draw next which will be even more creative and engaging?" is draining every joy of creating. Just ignore all of this. Do what you want to do right now.
