When other people point out the geometric shapes and gesture lines in a drawing, do you think the og artist had this in mind while drawing? Was this pure intention coming from their skill and experience or do they really concept an artwork with these fundamentals in mind?

Do you know this? I don't allow myself good things like certain food, entertainment etc. when I haven't accomplish anything. Like I have to punish myself for not doing good enough. Idk if thats a good work moral.

I shouldn't care about this but I do. I am always happy when I finished making a new video. But sharing it and seeing it "flop" demotivates me so much. Sometimes it feels like a grind, despite the joy I get from peoples reactions...

Little update on my side: I am not doing physically and mentally that well but I try to get a new video done by Sunday. So hopefully this will be interesting :3

I find it sad when artists say "There's nothing which inspires me of that era of art history". I think every era outstanding works, being made under their special social circumstances. And when it's not the content, then maybe the technique. There's always something inspiring.

This year will have more OC content. I promise.

Tomorrow I will have this class again in which this guy mocked me last time...I am so fucking nervous and anxious, feels like school again. I thought being an adult means to encounter other adults at eye-level.

The thing about my workflow is that I am slow and work messy. I mean, at least I could be slow but make pretty detailed and clean work or be fast and do messy work. What ist this unfortunate pairing? 😩

Many people will unlearn the ability to identify actual art/photography vs ai slop. They just eat what they get and I am worrying this will be our end.

Always chasing the next "trendy" idea for your art is so exhausting. Always thinking "What could I draw next which will be even more creative and engaging?" is draining every joy of creating. Just ignore all of this. Do what you want to do right now.
