I went to the Trumansburg Volunteer Fire Department banquet tonight to see my dad get honored for 50 years of service as a volunteer firefighter (and my stepmom get honored for 40 years of service!!)

Hazel is Secretary of DSA’s Growth & Development Committee & former Co-Chair of DSA SF & California DSA. Since 2018 she’s organized around housing, homelessness, & Palestine. In her spare time, she led a Trans Privacy initiative protecting 220K people in California.

Megan cut her teeth doing mutual aid during hurricanes Laura and Delta in Southwest Louisiana and currently serves as a DSA National Co-Chair. Red Star is running Megan for re-election for Co-Chair so she can continue breaking barriers between members, chapters, and national DSA!

A committed party-builder and former co-chair of Madison Area DSA, Adithya led the revival of a chapter hollowed out by conflict and built unity by increasing member participation and democratic deliberation tenfold, turning it into one of 2024’s fastest-growing DSA chapters!

John is a lifelong southern organizer who served as chapter co-chair of Baton Rouge DSA and currently serves on the NPC as treasurer. He wants to continue connecting members, keeping comrades informed and growing DSA to be the mover of working class politics for all people!

Andrew has served as Co-Chair of DSA SF, where he helped lead the victorious Empty Homes Tax campaign and the charge to revamp DSA SF’s budgeting process. Andrew also helps deliver the GDC’s “State of DSA” reports, analyzing membership recruitment and retention across DSA.
