On the final day of our PhD student summer school, students explored the importance of reporting detailed methods though a reproducibility workshop that saw them attempt to re-build Lego structures relying only on written instructions.

Day two of our summer school kicked off with Güneş Taylor from the University of Edinburgh. She discussed the challenges and benefits of communicating research with diverse audiences and shared advice from her personal experiences of speaking to the public about animal use in science.

Today was the first day of our annual PhD student summer school. Alongside NC3Rs-funded students, this year we are also delighted to welcome students funded by the BBSRC.
