There’s much rage about Siri’s Intelligence being delayed. It’s bad marketing to boast about unfinished magic. But Apple isn’t the only guilty party. Now Apple is delaying to get it right. That’s better than treating us like guiena pigs with our most personal info. My take on the drama this week:

simple point i tried to convey in the post I just shared. if someone does a nazi salute at a political rally, i don't need to do a critical biography or do some deep dive on why they did it. if you want a research project, sure, whatever. but that doesn't matter. They did it. Thats all that matters.

People don’t just “accidentally” do a nazi salute. You cool with it? Are you going to shrug it off as him being socially weird? Or are you going to speak out? This man thinks he faces no consequences.

This is a seminal test of mainstream media on Day 1. Ignore this, gloss over it or talk it away and it won’t just be a failure of duty, it will be collaboration. And then it will all need torn down.

Musk threw up a very enthusiastic Nazi salute. It is important we do not just shrug this off as just a guy being weird. A rich man believes he faces no consequences for an abhorrent gesture, because he thinks there’s nothing to fear. Let’s remind him of the fear of accountability.

Who would have guessed?! Locking away products makes it harder to sell products?! I go to these retail tech shows and I see concepts of having customers access the locked shampoo by doing face ID scans with security cameras in the aisle. Society lost its mind.
