The Creative Gremlin will be overjoyed that Dara from Bulgaria won with his absolute favorite "Bangarang". He has been pretty obsessed with the song since he heard it a couple of weeks ago, so I suppose the obsession will continue for the foreseeable future …

We just had a rechargable battery explode and catch fire. Pretty scary moment to be honest. People please get yourself a fire blanket, it was the main thing that prevented more damage.

Surprise attack on Sultanate troops caused severe injury and permanent dismemberment! The perpetrator: One of our gremlins trying to get a drink and being careless. I kindly ask you for a moment of silence while I scramble to find replacements (and/or enough superglue) in time for the next game.

God was merciful and my Osman Bulls were stomping undead elites left and right while my long-range sniping alchemist eliminated key operatives. Trench Djihad was a lot of fun! And please excuse the miniatures being unpainted, I didn't have the time to finish them :-( #trenchcrusade #ironsultanate.

The husband @wagtail.bsky.social and I had another lovely night with "Girl Scout" in the Uebel & Gefährlich, Hamburg. This time around we got to bring our big boy. Despite the early start and therefore no chance to grab a bite to eat, we all loved it.

The husband ( @wagtail.bsky.social ) and I took a day off on sunday and went to the "Fantasy Filmfest Nights" in Hamburg and it was fantastic. Great movies, nice talks with other horror film fans, great atmosphere and just a relaxing day with someone and something you love. fantasyfilmfest.com/en/

So our little Creative Gremlin took a Space Marine he painted and another one on the sprue to school and held a little spontaneous presentation about painting as well as assembling minis. Knowing him that's not a huge surprise. What surprised me was that 3/4ths of his class loved it. 1/2

Getting back into "the hobby scene" has been only joy for me, so many nice people that you can share your interests with. Also so many other neurodivergent people, they are "my tribe" and have always been.

Assembling ✅ Priming ✅ Going crazy with paint … in progress Knowing the Gremlin he will probably finish up all of this batch today, so he can start with the touch-ups tomorrow. There is no stopping him.

We watched "Super Mario Galaxy" with the Gremlin Brigade, and the cinema was pretty empty. Almost as empty as that film felt: loads of references and fan service, but the story and character interactions just did not spark at all. I am a bit disappointed to be honest, because I liked the first one.
