My employer was "acquired" earlier this week. They assured us over & over that nothing would change. Normally I get paid every other Wednesday. Today was payday. No paycheck yet and normally it's in my account & ready to spend by the end of the workday. I am trying not to freak out but I am PISSED.

This Halloween season, I bought several giant bags of Airheads candy and every freakin' time, the bag was like 60% cherry, 5% blue raspberry, and 35% the rest of the flavors. Cherry is my least favorite and blue raspberry is my most favorite and it made me sad. My husb just came in with this for me.

My goal every year at my annual exam is to make my gynecologist laugh during the actual body exam. Today I got a chuckle when I told her during the collection of cells for the pap smear that it felt like she was pinching my soul. Cervix owners, y'all know exactly what I'm talkin' 'bout.

I had a super busy weekend and I checked my calendar hoping for some peace and quiet this upcoming week. Nope! I have my annual exam tomorrow and a dental cleaning on Tuesday. I had these appointments spaced out but a reschedule means the two medical things I hate the most are both this week.

Caught "Back to the Future" tonight with a good friend that I hadn't seen in years. He hadn't been to a movie since 2020 and was a little shocked that a gin fizz and a Jack & Coke added up to $38 at the movie theater bar. I didn't have the heart to tell him that our tickets were that much too.

Week two progress on my latch hook project. It was a slow week at work and I am just a smidge over halfway done.
