THIS WEEK The CORT #Yes2Motorsport Cup Series heads to the newly refurbished (as of Tuesday's iRacing update) Watkins Glen International for the first road course race with the Gen 4 cars. It's 40 minutes around the fastest road course in the series, this Wednesday at 8PM ET.

Does any one else have this pet peeve where you're always trying to find new words to describe things because people end up using one word so much it ends up sounding completely overused, to the point you intentionally avoid using that word, or am I just weird? (I'm looking at you, 'slop'.)

I think the constant need to tinker with my already-released music arises from the fact that I'm learning as I go, and I get a great idea of what would enhance a piece, so I load it up in FL Studio and go to town.

@gu3.st I am feeling SO vindicated right now for saying something was absolutely screwed with the torque curve on the legacy Gen 4 car because I am absolutely driving the hell out of the new Gen 4 car and it is way more predictable and planted

Was running a practice session on iRacing (NASCAR trucks at Watkins Glen) and I was running some pretty solid lap times but GODDDD my right wrist just can't do a long race anymore. Ugh.

If you are a iRacer and want a little chuckle, load up the Gen 4 Taurus at the Chili Bowl and set the tire pressures to the minimum

So what was causing this was a bad implementation of fall damage that calculated the fall based on when the player pressed the jump button. As far as the engine was aware, that time was always 0, so it treated the fall as a *really* long fall rather than the short drop that it was.

If I've shared this one here already, then oops lol, but I'm actually really proud of this one!

Imagine being such a wimp that a 30cm fall wipes your entire health bar out

Anyway, on the creative side of things, it's actually been a busy 2025! I've been banging away at my UE5 prototype here and there, I've even picked up creative writing again and legitimately can't wait to start showing off what I'm cooking on that front.

8 month accountability check in, things are slow but still trending in the right direction! Hoping to be at my goal by at least the beginning of December. Who knew living under a constant state of dread over the state of the world for almost 9 months straight could turn into this?

Updated all my mod descriptions to reflect tested compatibility with Tale of Two Wastelands 3.4. Also, went back and stressed on the (crap quest mod I released 7 years ago) mod page on ModPub that it's ass, and to stop looking for it. Anyway, back to forgetting these hell apps exist!
