This setup makes so much sense from a storytelling perspective. There’s two boards in the pilot; perhaps the intent was to give Thomas an additional bit of motive… “why is it that I can pass the first board but not the second one?”

Had a dream involving TUGS last night…found a promo tape in a library where they had Sunshine pitching the series to kids, sort of like a fake interview sort of thing

Had a really trippy dream last night which involved someone discovering a behind the scenes reel for TUGS. It would’ve been a continuation/soft reboot that was worked on in the mid-late 90s before getting scrapped. It was animated, BUT all the boats/cranes/etc were filmed on a chroma key background-

Yes, posting this today may have been intentional. Added a childhood toy to my knick-knack shelf recently to represent this fandom and what it can achieve. Involving Tiger Moth doesn’t automatically make it good, but several peak fan projects have involved Tiger Moth in some way.
