Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength. Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans. The American people need more from their leaders.

To all government workers who are working with no pay. Why? If you feel the absolute need to show up, do so, but accomplish nothing. Throw as many wrenches in the gears as you can. Shut it down entirely. The longer you keep it limping along, the longer Orange man stays in power.
