Translating Tomino is quite interesting, especially when you see him fixate on a topic and run with it across his works. His dabbling in religion (for me) starts in the V Gundam novels, then jumps ship to his "Spirit of the King" trilogy. I translated the prologue because I've always been curious.

A 70's example of a "beam struggle" from Zero Tester episode 44 (1974.) (YAS is credited doing genga and Ishiguro for storyboards for this episode.) [That term "beam struggle" is something fans of Dragon Ball tend to use more.]

A sample of the clean up done on the scans here so far. Based on the lyrics, this is clearly Heartbeat by Wham! which was released in 1984. This particular book is from late 1985, possibly at Comiket 29 as it was a sub-imprint of the J-9 F.C. (Braiger). Garma looks very Yas adjacent!
