Also Got OG Fable on OG Xbox the other day. Great time. Hadn’t played it in a while. First time I’m playing it on a console.

Had it on PC first in 2012 now I have on OG Xbox.

Insane detail gain from my hacked VCR. Dark scenes got crushed so bad. This is why I got so insane over needing VHS-Decode. Some tapes are basically unplayable without it.

NTSC Quarantine always the most expensive. The PAL ones (complete) aren't cheap either. The original NTSC-J ones are very cheap. I technically have x2 PAL ones, Recent one I got all x4 of them full complete collection (all manuals, all OVAS, perfect condition) for $122 form someone locally here.

Example of Lasseter actually stating outright that Kremlin-san's works were an influence on them. 1981 is very early into the timeline. The line about them taking out Ghibli LaserDiscs for shot inspiration needs to be corroborated by other Pixar staff before we take it as fact.

So here in this Zeta #19 storyboard, I see that what's labelled here #87, the twirl seems to been meant to happen before Kamille gets up? This twirl in the final version is indeed used just before they are on the rooftop (hence it being relabelled #87) but I wonder if these cuts were relabelled?

With the Zuiyo Eizo --> Nippon Animation change/transformation; How on earth where all staff's contracts handled? Did they have to legally amend everything back in 1975? Also how far did they use the Zuiyo Eizo branded materials into Flanders?
