I'm a big fan of a blanket cape to stay warm. If you wear it so the middle of the long edge goes behind your neck and you put some type of closure mechanism (eg buttons, poppers, ribbons) an appropriate way down each side then you can wear your blanket cape hands-free.

The warm summer has spoiled me: it's 22C and I'm cold enough to put on a jumper.

Made the mistake of having a sandwich at 3pm, still not recovered 2 hours later. I simply cannot eat in the daytime and still function, I was going to make potato dogs today (step 2, I cooked the potatoes yesterday), but I can't even do it sitting down due to fatigue. Will have a nap and try again.

Finally got my driving licence back today! I have a 3 year restricted, so I have to renew it with a bunch of forms every 3 years, and it took forever this time, but only because the DVLA were being slow. It's my 17th licence. Now I can prove I'm still me to the DWP.

The Virgin doorstep salesperson ignored the "no soliciting" signs, and then got upset when I shut the door in their face. Most people who don't see it just immediately apologise and leave, so I'm not rude to them. Don't tell me you didn't see it and then carry on trying to sell me stuff 🤷‍♀️

Still haven't saved up enough to pay someone to tile my shower, but I did have enough to spend £20 on an electric pump so I can use my collapsible bath without turning into a sweaty mess emptying it. Much nicer than the weekly full body flannel wash. Maybe I'll have more than weekly baths.

Unpopular (evidence based) opinion: Disabled people who cannot work should receive higher than the minimum wage. Because being disabled costs a lot more money… and given the minimum wage is meant to be the lowest amount a non-disabled person should survive on… it makes sense.
