None of this is true. Immigrants are less likely to commit criminal acts than native born citizens. Immigration and trade increase wealth for the middle class (and everyone else). And we're still enforcing crimes, except when cops refuse because they imagine people don't respect them enough.

They're terrified of getting sued.

Truth still matters. Lies may win the battle—but only the truth can win the war.

Authoritarian populists have no plan—they just have grievance. That's why you see so much fluidity between populists on the far right and the far left. When your entire agenda is defined by people you want to punish, partisan lines mean nothing.

Common sense reforms: 1) anti-cronyism and anti-corruption measures, 2) make it easier for average Americans to get elected to office instead of having to compete with oligarchs so we can better represent our communities, 3) friendlier to a multiparty system and independent candidates.
