There are a lot of people saying the ending of Hades 2 sucks and not enough people saying the entire story up until that point is also real bad. Like how are you going to build up Typhon as this big bad and then when you finally beat him you get a placeholder scene with some gods and no one cares.

It's wild that Hades 2 has two seperate routes with "final bosses" and you don't get meaningful story progression from beating either of them. The we're at war framing really doesn't work when neither success or failure matters to the story.

Nah man a big part of why the UB stuff makes me sad is cause I know it's extremely popular so they're going to keep doing it despite it making the parts of the game I deeply care about worse. Like I know a bunch of people are going to buy the 6th marvel set but that doesn't make my FNM fire.

Gameplay of Hades 2 is good but I'm way less invested in the story than the first game's. Mostly cause Chronos just isn't an interesting bad guy.

It's really weird that a standard set released last week and the pro tour happening right now is PT Different Set.

I put in my promotion request last week and I don't find out if I got it for a month and it's very stressful and I don't like it.

One day the magic fire will go out for good, but it ain't today. Back to back trophy. Beat 3x Vivi, UW Control and GW landfall. Green overlord was better than the summon, Smuggler's Suprise was good, unsure if spaceship is better. Also I didn't even realize until this league: enchanties!

Fire update: lost playing for the trophy to @phblthp.bsky.social on the mirror and then rallied back another 5 in a row tonight with this. It plays much better than it looks. Beat up on red a bunch despite cutting all the MD interaction so feeling good about that choice. Lumra might suck.

GMd my first daggerheart session today and it was the most fun I've ever had playing a ttrpg. The game was so fast paced and dynamic and effortlessly scaled between everyone acting at the same time and then scaling back to just a couple characters for a turn or two. So excited to play more.
